Given below are instructions to integrate privacy search
engines like DuckDuckGo and Google Encrypted Search into your browser.
Adding DuckDuckGo Privacy To Your Browser
Firefox Users-
Use the following link
Chrome Users-
- Go To https://duckduckgo.com/
- Right-click on the search box and select ‘Add as search engine’
- Right-click the address bar (where it says duckduckgo.com).and select Edit search engines.
- Find and select DuckDuckGo in the list
- Click Make Default. And click OK
Opera Users-
- Go To https://duckduckgo.com/
- Right-click the search box (in the page).
- Select Create Search.
- Enter d for keyword and check Use as default search engine
- Click OK.
Adding Google
Encrypted Search To Your Browser
Firefox Users-
Use the following link
Chrome Users-
- Go to- https://encrypted.google.com/
- Right-click on the search box and select ‘Add as search engine’
- Right-click the address bar (where it says encrypted.google.com) and select ‘Edit search engines’.
- Find and select encrypted.google.com in the list.
- Click
Make Default. And click OK
Opera Users-
1. Go
to- https://encrypted.google.com/
2. Right-click
on the search box and select create search
3. Give
keyword as eg and check Use as default search engine
